Nurney Tower – Monochrome Madness Challenge

For this weeks challenge I have picked an image which I took  earlier on in the year, whilst out exploring with my edest son Ryan. Its an image that I have always liked, and so I experimented with a different type of edit. The ruin in the background is the Tower in Nurney, Co. Kildare. You can read all about it and our adventure by clicking on the link HERE. The image was somewhat of an accident, I was trying different angles on the tower from the bottom of the hill, when Ryan came into the shot and was pointing to something in a nearby field. Well as I looked up I had pressed the remote trigger and this was the result. In my opinion, one of the best shots of the day.

Editing this from scratch was a bit hit and miss, as I wanted to do something different…
